-	Go to the Gym and defeat Falkner
-	Go to pokemon center and get egg from scientist
-	Head south

-	Talk to Kurt, go back to well and drive team rocket out

-	Talk to rightmost clerk to take quiz

-	Go to flower shop, get squirtbottle
-	Head north until National Park, take the East exit
-	Talk to Sudowoodo then go East-North to Ecruteak

-	Fight Gym
-	Beat dance theater and talk to top hat guy for HM03 Surf
-	Go west to Olivine

-	Head west, then South to Olivine

-	Enter lighthouse and reach Jasmine at the top
-	Leave lighthouse and go West to the water route

-	Head southwest to Cianwood

-	Get medicine from pharmacy
-	Fight gym, talk to woman outside to get HM02 Fly when you leave
-	Fly to olivine

-	Enter lighthouse, give medicine to jasmine
-	Leave lighthouse
-	Fly to Ecruteak
-	Go into the house left of the pokemon center and get HM04 Strength

-	Head east to Mahogany (don't go in caves)

-	Head North to Lake of Rage

-	Catch/kill red gyrados
-	Go back on land, talk to lance
-	Fly back to Mahogany

-	Go to building with radio antenna
-	Complete Rocket Hideout with Lance

-	Battle Jessie and then talk to her to get a password
-	Battle one of the grunts and then talk to him to get a password
-	Beat the Giovanni worshipper and talk to the bird

-	Talk to Blue at Cinnabar Island to unlock Vermillion Gym (do this any time)
-	Fight and win at all gyms (any order)
-	Talk to Prof. Oak in Pallet town
-	Go to Mt Silver
